Resident Evil 4 Remake

Release Date: March 24, 2023

Platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC

It was only a matter of time before the Resident Evil 4 remake was announced. The Resident Evil 2 remake was released with critical acclaim, and it is now considered one of the best Resident Evil games of all time. The Resident Evil 3 remake had a worse reception, but still sold well. However, Resident Evil 4 is being made by the same Capcom team that produced the Resident Evil 2 remake. Based on the small glimpses that we seen of it, it appears to be darker and creepier, while keeping all of the elements of the original game.

Street Fighter 6

This is a new era for the Street Fighter series. Street Fighter 6 is now on a new engine and looks better than ever. The aesthetics have changed, with hip-hop and graffiti being pushed to the front. Street Fighter 6 will have new gameplay features, but it still appears to  have the same great gameplay that defines the older games in the series.

God of War Ragnorok

Release Date: November 9, 2022

Platforms: PS5, PS4

The God of War series is one of Sony and Playstation's most notable titles. This was also true for the 2018 God of War, which won many awards, including "game of the year." God of War Ragnorok is looking to improve on the original in every way, from the graphics to the gameplay. Players can look forward to another violent adventure with Kratos and his son.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

Release date: October 28, 2022

Platforms: PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, PC

The sequel to 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is once again being developed by Infinity Ward. Many players claim that Modern Warfare (2019) was one of the better Call of Duty games in a long while. After reviewing an extended gameplay trailer of a campaign mission, so far it looks phenomenal. Not much has been shown on the multiplayer front, but it's Call of Duty after all, so it's obvious what to expect. This game should be on your radar.

Diablo 4

Release Date: 2023

Platforms: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC

Diablo 4 is looking like a good mixture of Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. The tone and world are much darker and grim, similar to Diablo 2. However, the gameplay seems to resemble Diablo 3. Many players are looking forward to this game, even if Diablo Immortal left a bad taste in the players' mouths. Based on gameplay trailers, players have a lot to be excited about and should remain optimistic.

Dead Island 2

Release Date: February 3, 2023

Platforms: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC

Dead Island 2 is finally back. It was first announced with a cinematic trailer at E3 2014. That's eight years ago. Several days ago, we received two trailers, and one of these trailers was a gameplay trailer. Dead Island 2 looks wacky, fun, and extremely gory. This was the tone of the first game as well, but Dead Island 2 is taking it up a few notches.

Bayonetta 3

Release Date: October 28, 2022

Platform: Nintendo Switch

Last on this list is a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Bayonetta 3 had a teaser trailer back in 2017, and some small trailers were released every year since. However, we never had a concrete release date, so many were left wondering when it would release. Last month, we finally received a nice gameplay trailer along with a release date. You will soon be able to fight off plenty of enemies using the gun-trotting witch known as Bayonetta.

Conclusion
